What it does.
BEDROCK is a bass chain: a four-band dynamic EQ, a solid-state optical leveler, a two-band saturator, a sub generator, a mono-lows stage and a limiter. Together they even out the notes and make the low end audible on small speakers.
The sub generator tracks the note to add an octave below, and builds harmonics of the low band that the ear uses to rebuild the fundamental. Everything it generates is mono, and the original lows can be lowered to make room. SCAN picks the settings from the pitch of the part and its energy below 60 Hz.

What's inside.
Level
The KO-3A optical engine, with Memory set for bass, so every note lands at about the same level.
Grit
Two-band saturation with eight circuits. Transformer on the lows keeps the sub solid, while Tube on the upper band adds the harmonics that carry on phones.
Sub octave
A divider tracks the fundamental and shapes an octave below into a near sine. Sub Octave runs 0–100 %, Sub Tone 30–160 Hz.
Psychoacoustic harmonics
Harmonics of the low band, from 1.2 to 7 times the bass frequency, so the bass survives laptop and phone speakers. Original Lows turns the real fundamental down by up to 24 dB to make room.
Mono Lows
Mono below a frequency from 40 to 300 Hz, with phase-coherent splits, keeps the low end centered.
Limiter
The ZENITH engine as the last stage: a true-peak ceiling, six styles and loudness meters.
SCAN for BEDROCK.
Play the bass or 808 with the drums for about ten seconds. SCAN measures the take and proposes settings for EQ, Level, Grit, Sub, Mono Lows, Limiter. Each move comes with the reason, in one line.
Apply it with one click, then trust your ears. It is a starting point an engineer would be happy to begin from.

Recommended
- EQ: low cut at 28 Hz, 24 dB/oct, for subsonic rumble only
- Level: Peak Reduction 48 with Gain +3.5 dB, about 3.5 dB of average leveling
- Grit: two bands split at 120 Hz, Transformer below at 7.5 dB to keep the sub solid, Tube above at 13.5 dB
- Sub: Bass Freq 88 Hz, Sub Octave 35 %, because the bass lacks weight below 60 Hz
- Mono Lows: mono below 150 Hz, so the low end stays centered
- Limiter: Safe style, Gain +5.6 dB toward −14 LUFS, ceiling −1.0 dBTP
