Install

The step-by-step install guide covers macOS and Windows, the macOS security prompt, and where to find the plugins in Logic, Ableton Live, FL Studio and other hosts. In short:

1. Download the installer from the downloads page and run it.
2. On macOS the plugins go to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components (AU) and /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3. On Windows, to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3.
3. Open your music software and rescan plugins. They appear under the manufacturer name Kelvinmoor.

Free trial

Every plugin runs for 7 days with everything working: all controls, SCAN, presets, no noise bursts, no card required. The days left are shown on the TRIAL button in the top bar of the plugin. When the trial ends, the plugin asks for a serial. All sales are final, so the trial is the time to make sure a plugin is right for you.

Activate your serial

1. Your serials arrive in the purchase email, right after checkout: one per plugin, or a single one for Complete. Check the spam folder if you don't see it.
2. Open the plugin and click TRIAL (or ACTIVATE) in the top bar.
3. Paste the serial and click Activate. Copying and pasting avoids typos.

Each serial starts with the plugin's code, so you can tell them apart: KM05-… is ISOTHERM. A Complete serial starts with KMAL- and unlocks all twenty. Activation, step by step.

Your computer and offline use

• Each serial is active on 1 computer at a time.
• Moving to a new computer: on the old one, open the plugin, click ACTIVATE in the top bar (or the settings menu → Activate license…) and choose Deactivate this computer. Then activate the same serial on the new one.
• Lost access to the old computer? Write to us with your order email and we free the serial.
• The plugins keep working offline for up to 45 days between checks.

Troubleshooting

The plugin doesn't show up in my host

Rescan plugins, then restart the host. Check that the files are in the folders listed above. Logic and GarageBand only load AU; Cubase only loads VST3; Pro Tools needs AAX, which is coming. The install guide shows where to look in each host.

"That serial isn't valid"

Paste it instead of typing it, and check that no space was added at the start or the end. If it still fails, forward us the purchase email.

"This serial is already active on another computer"

Deactivate it on the computer you used before, or write to us and we will free it.

"This serial is for a different Kelvinmoor plugin"

Each serial unlocks the plugin whose code it starts with. Open that plugin, or use your Complete serial (KMAL-) if you have one.

"Couldn't reach kelvinmoor.com"

Activation needs a connection for a few seconds. Check the internet connection and any firewall that blocks the host, then try again.

Questions

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once and the plugins are yours. Updates within version 1 are free.

Can I get a refund?

All sales are final, which is why every plugin runs fully for 7 days before you buy. If something is wrong with an order (charged twice, a serial that will not activate), write to us and we will fix it.

Is there a Windows version?

The Windows VST3 versions are on their way. The installer will be on the downloads page as soon as it is ready; the install guide already covers Windows.

Is there an AAX version for Pro Tools?

Not yet. AU and VST3 are available for macOS; AAX is coming.

Do I need to be online?

Only to activate. After that the plugins check in about once a week when a connection is available, and keep working for up to 45 days without one.

Does SCAN upload my audio?

No. SCAN analyzes the audio inside the plugin, on your computer. Nothing is sent anywhere.

How do bundle discounts work?

Put two or more plugins in your cart and the discount applies by itself: 15% for two, 25% for three, up to 45% for ten or more, with no plugin below $29. All twenty are in Complete.

I bought one plugin. Can I upgrade to Complete?

Write to us with your order email and we will sort it out by hand while we build a proper upgrade path.

Is PILOT LIGHT really free?

Yes, for good. No trial, no serial, no card.
